If you like fish in tomatoes, but do not like to stew it and constantly monitor the process, cook it in the oven. To do this, you will need a suitable form with a lid. Ideally – cast iron or ceramic, but you can use foil. Thus, tilapia, for example, turns out perfectly, which in the process will gain all the flavors and aromas from the sauce.
Ingredients
- Tilapia - 600-800 g
- Tomatoes (in its own juice) – 1 bank
- Cherry tomatoes - 6 pieces
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Greenery - 4 twigs
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Spices and seasonings - 2 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the onion and grate the carrots on a grater, lightly fry.
Chop tomatoes in their own juice in a blender, finely chop cherry, garlic and onion.
Add everything to the vegetables and warm up a little more. Season the mass.
Put the tilapia fillets in a mold and pour the tomato.
Bake the fish in the oven under a lid or under foil for 25 minutes at 180 degrees.
