Classic Spanish omelet is made from potatoes, onions and eggs. Unlike the usual recipes for us, milk or cream is not used in it. The omelet turns out to be lush and high due to starch, which is very much in potatoes.
Ingredients
- Potatoes (medium) – 3 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Chicken eggs - 4 pieces
- Ham - 50 g
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Butter - 50 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips.
Slice the ham and peeled onion.
Mix eggs with salt and ground pepper, beat lightly with a fork.
Season the potato straws with salt and pepper and put them in a preheated frying pan with oil. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add onion, ham and continue to fry for another 4 minutes.
Pour in the egg mixture, turn down the heat and cook for 5 minutes under the lid.
Gently flip the omelet to the other side and continue frying for another 5 minutes.
