Corn porridge has a bright taste of its own, but this does not mean that it does not need spices. I suggest here is an original version with curry and turmeric. And the bonus is an incredible golden hue, which becomes even more pronounced.
Ingredients
- Corn groats - 100 g
- Coconut milk - 500 ml
- Coconut oil - 20 g
- Turmeric - 1 tsp.
- Curry - 1 tsp.
- Ground red pepper - 1 pinch
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil coconut milk. Pour the washed grits in a thin stream, stirring.
Continuing to stir, cook the porridge for 5 minutes on low heat.
Add all the spices and coconut oil, and cook for another 5 minutes.
Let the porridge brew under the lid for 10-15 minutes.
