I don't like to throw away leftovers, I always try to find a use for them. Recently, I made delicious pancakes with the remaining millet porridge. For a brighter taste, I added garlic, roast and some spices. I am sharing my discovery with you.
Ingredients
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the millet thoroughly, pour cold water and boil for 20-25 minutes. By the end, the liquid should completely evaporate.
Peel the onion from the husk and finely chop it.
Peel and grate the carrots.
Fry onions and carrots in oil until golden brown.
Mix the millet porridge, roast, egg, salt, oregano, ground pepper, flour and garlic passed through the press.
Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan, spoon out small pancakes and shape them into the desired shape. Fry for 1.5-2 minutes on each side and place on a paper napkin.
