Tired of classic recipes? Try something new! I offer this option to coconut lovers. If there is no applesauce, increase the amount of coconut milk. You can use any flour: rice, wheat or almond.
Ingredients
For Dough:
- Flour - 400 g
- Starch - 1 tbsp.l.
- Applesauce - 100 g
- Coconut milk - 120 ml
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Baking powder - 1,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 50 g
- Salt - at the tip of the knife
- Vegetable oil (odorless) – 350 ml
For glaze and sprinkling:
- Sugar - 300 g
- Water - 150 ml
- Lemon juice - 1 art.l.
- Coconut chips - 3 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix flour, starch, baking powder, sugar and salt.
Separately mix coconut milk, applesauce and lightly beaten egg.
Mix both blanks and knead a soft dough.
Roll out the cake 3-4 centimeters thick. Squeeze out the doughnuts with the help of glasses.
Fry the donuts in hot oil until tender and place on a paper towel.
Mix water and sugar, boil over low heat for 10-15 minutes.
Add lemon juice, stir and remove from the stove.
Use a silicone brush to apply icing sugar to the donuts. Sprinkle coconut shavings thickly on top.
