Favorite pastries come from childhood - homemade sochniki with cottage cheese. Fragrant shortbread dough with a huge amount of filling will gather even those who absolutely do not like cottage cheese at an evening tea party. Try it for sure!

Ingredients

For Dough:
  • Flour - 210 g
  • Butter - 100 g
  • Chicken eggs - 1 pcs.
  • Powdered sugar - 50 g
  • Baking powder dough - 1/4 tsp.
  • Salt - pinch

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Beat softened butter until smooth with powdered sugar, add egg and salt, beat again.

Mix flour with baking powder, sift and gradually add to the butter-egg mass. Knead the elastic dough, cover with cling film and send it to the refrigerator for about half an hour.

Take care of the filling: combine the cottage cheese with sugar, add half the yolk, flour and sour cream. Rub well until smooth. If desired, you can add raisins or lemon zest to the curd filling.

Divide the cooled dough into 6 equal parts, roll out cakes 4-5 mm thick. Put 1 tablespoon with a slide of filling on the edge of each tortilla, cover with the second half of the tortilla, smear the surface with half of the beaten yolk.

Bake the juicers with cottage cheese in a preheated 200 °C oven for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
