I always keep puff pastry in the freezer. It helps out a lot when you need to quickly cook something for a snack. For example, you can bake a pie with spinach and feta. It is recommended to serve such a dish both hot and cold.
Ingredients
- Puff pastry - 500 g
- Spinach - 250 g
- Feta - 250 g
- Chicken eggs - 2 pieces
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Olive oil - 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Defrost puff pastry at room temperature.
Tear the spinach into small pieces with your hands and put it in a bowl.
Add lightly beaten eggs, crumbled feta, salt and ground pepper. Mix everything well.
Roll out the puff pastry to the desired thickness, divide into two parts.
Put the first part on a greased baking sheet, evenly distribute the filling.
Cover the top with the second part of the dough and seal the edges.
Bake the pie for 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees.
