Feta is not the most popular cheese for making khachapuri, but this option definitely deserves attention. Moreover, it is cooked in a frying pan. I advise you to serve the dish with a sauce based on yogurt or matzoni.
Ingredients
For Dough:
- Flour - 700 g
- Milk - 300 g
- Butter - 100 g
- Chicken eggs - 2 pieces
- Dry yeast - 10 g
- Sugar - 2 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
For filling:
- Feta - 200 g
- Cheese - 100 g
- Adyghe cheese - 300 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Grate all the cheese for the filling and mix.
Heat the milk and mix with melted butter and egg.
Mix the dry ingredients for the dough.
Combine both masses, mix thoroughly and leave for half an hour in the heat.
Divide the dough into pieces and roll out into tortillas.
Wrap a little cheese filling in each one and roll it out again.
Fry khachapuri in a frying pan for about 3-4 minutes on each side without oil.
