Is there kefir in the refrigerator instead of milk? You can also make delicious pancakes from it. Warm up the kefir to room temperature, and for the reaction, add soda or baking powder to the dough. I usually choose the second option!
Ingredients
- Flour - 240 g
- Kefir (warm) – 500 ml
- Chicken eggs - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 0,25 tsp.
- Baking powder dough - 0,5 tsp.
- Vanilla Essence - 1 drop
- Vegetable oil (for frying) – 2 art.l.
- Butter (for greasing pancakes) – 30 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Beat eggs with sugar and salt with a mixer.
Add half the kefir, vanilla essence and mix.
Pour in the sifted flour mixed with baking powder and knead the mass until smooth.
Pour in the remaining kefir and mix again.
Grease a frying pan with vegetable oil and heat it well. Pour half a ladle of dough and distribute it evenly over the entire surface with inclined movements.
Fry the pancake until golden brown on both sides, put it on a plate and brush with butter. Repeat the steps with the rest of the test.
