Shortbread cookies with jam belong to oriental sweets. It is often prepared in Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkey and many other countries. It is also extremely popular on the territory of the former USSR. I suggest we bake it for tea today.
Ingredients
- Flour - 2 glasses
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Butter (soft) – 160 g
- Sugar - 100 g
- Salt - 0,25 tsp.
- Vanillin - on the tip of the knife
- Jam (thick) – 120 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Beat the soft butter with sugar, vanilla and salt until white.
Continuing to beat, add the egg and sifted flour. As a result, a homogeneous viscous mass should be obtained.
Using a spoon or a pastry bag, place the cookies on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
Gently use your fingers to make a recess on each, fill it with jam.
Bake for 10 minutes in an oven preheated to 220 degrees.
