Ingredients
- Cabbage - 2 kg
- Beetroot - 500 g
- Hot red pepper - 1 pod
- Carnation - 2 bud
- Bay leaf - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 50 g
- Salt - 25 g
- Water - 2,5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil water, add sugar and salt. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
Chop the cabbage, hot pepper and peeled beets.
Put cabbage and beets in layers in a saucepan, adding a little hot pepper and spices.
Pour in the cooled marinade, cover with a lid and set the oppression. Remove the workpiece for 1.5-2 months in the basement.
