Someone likes to roll whole peaches into jars, but I prefer to make compote from halves. At least, this way they fit better into cans, and fit more tightly. I share a recipe that has been tested for years and practice!
Ingredients
- Peaches - 1 kg
- Sugar - 250 g
- Citric acid - 0.5 tsp.
- Water - 1.5-2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the peaches into halves and put them in sterile jars.
Boil water with sugar and mix until dissolved.
Pour over the peaches, add citric acid and roll up the jars.
