Today I want to share with you a very unusual way of cooking canned apple compote. This includes finely chopped apples, although they are usually used whole or in slices. And for a richer taste and color, add a little currant.
Ingredients
- Apples - 600 g
- Red currant - 400 g
- Water - 2 l
- Sugar - 1 glass
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the apples and cut into small cubes. Rinse the currants.
Put everything in sterile jars and pour boiling water over it.
Leave for 10 minutes under the lid, drain the water and boil it again.
Add the sugar, stir and pour the jars again.
Roll up the compote for the winter.
