Cucumber salad with onions for winter
Cucumbers are often used for various preparations for the winter. Today I will share a recipe for canned cucumber salad with onions. It turns out to be a fairly universal thing - both an independent snack and a semi-finished product for adding to soups and other dishes.
Ingredients
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the cucumbers and, depending on the size, cut into circles or quarter rings.
Peel the onion and cut it into half rings, wash the dill, dry it and chop it.
Combine cucumbers, onions and dill in a bowl. Add salt to the salad, add sugar, vinegar and vegetable oil. Mix everything well and leave for 3 hours at room temperature.
After the specified time, place the salad together with the resulting juice in a cooking pot, bring to a boil and cook over low heat for 7-10 minutes.
Pack a hot cucumber salad with onions in pre-sterilized jars, roll it up, turn it upside down, wrap it up and cool it. Store the cooled workpiece in a cool, dark place.
