All lovers of fish preserves know how difficult it is to find a really successful brand to like both the taste and the composition. Therefore, I suggest not to waste time in vain, and prepare several jars of salad with sprat yourself.
Ingredients
- Sprat - 1 kg
- Tomatoes - 1 kg
- Bell pepper - 300 g
- Carrots - 500 g
- Onion - 500 g
- Greenery - 1 bundle
- Vegetable oil - 50 ml
- Sugar - 40 g
- Salt - 30 g
- Vinegar - 30 ml
- Spices and seasonings - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the tomatoes and chop them with onions in a blender.
Finely chop the carrots and peppers. Mix the vegetables and bring to a boil. Add butter, sugar and salt.
Put the washed sprat in them and bring it to a boil again.
Simmer for 90 minutes on low heat. Add spices to taste and herbs, and simmer for another 15 minutes.
Pour in the vinegar, simmer for another 5 minutes and roll the salad into sterile jars.
