I love apple jam, but in its pure form it can be quite boring. Especially if it is a variety with a neutral taste. That's why I usually add some kind of berry to the apples. It turns out very tasty with currants.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel and finely chop the apples.
Add currants, cover everything with sugar and bring to a boil.
Boil for 5 minutes and let cool. And so one more time.
Boil the jam for the third time, but for 10 minutes.
Pour it into sterile jars.
