The black rowan jam itself turns out to be very rich. On the one hand, this is a plus, but on the other hand, not everyone will like it. Therefore, you can dilute it with different fruit additives for a change. Apples will be a win-win option.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Boil the blackberries in boiling water for 3-5 minutes and put them in a colander.

Cook the syrup from 500 g of sugar and 2 cups of water.

Lower the blackberries there, boil for 5 minutes and let cool completely.

Separately cut the peeled apples into cubes, boil them for 6-8 minutes too and throw them into a colander.

Bring the blackberries to a boil, add the remaining sugar and boil until dissolved.

Add apples, cinnamon and lemon juice.

Bring the jam to a boil again and boil for another 10 minutes.

Let it cool completely again, then boil for another 10 minutes and roll it into sterile jars.
