It's not always obvious, but sour grapes are a wonderful base for winter compote. It will have a very bright and rich taste, and besides, it is also a useful preparation. It is also prepared very simply – like most winter compotes.

Ingredients

  • Grapes (sour) – 700 g
  • Water - 2 l
  • Sugar - 1 glass

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the grapes, put them in a clean jar and pour boiling water over them.

Cover and leave for 10 minutes.

Drain the water and boil it again.

Pour sugar into the jar and pour boiling water.

Roll up the compote with a lid.
