Cut carrots, peeled onions and beets into small pieces.
Pierce tomatoes with a needle in several places.
Put currant leaves, dill umbrellas, onions, carrots, beets and tomatoes in jars.
Pour boiling water to the top and leave under the lids for 20 minutes.
Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar and salt, boil for 2 minutes.
