Simple recipes have always been popular. I want to share one of these with you today. We will cook thick jam for five minutes from black currants, but in this way you can cook almost any berries.
Ingredients
- Black Currant - 2 kg
- Sugar - 2 kg
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the currant berries from the twigs, peel off the dry tails and rinse.
Grind in a blender or pass through a meat grinder.
Mix the resulting mass with sugar and leave for 1-1.5 hours.
Put the pan on a slow fire, boil for 5 minutes and set aside to cool.
After 1 hour, put the pan back on the fire, boil for 5 minutes and set aside for 2-3 hours.
Boil the jam for the third time for 5 minutes, put it in clean, dry jars and roll it up.
