What to do with sour apples is an eternal question, especially if there are quite a lot of them. Personally, I prefer to just make jam out of them, and not invent any new bicycles. A simple, delicious and win-win option – and what else is needed for happiness. I'm telling you!
Ingredients
- Apples (sour) – 1 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the apples and slice.
Cover them with sugar and cinnamon and leave for a couple of hours.
Bring the billet to a boil and cook the jam for half an hour on low heat.
Roll it up in sterilized jars.
