There are dozens of adjika recipes of different sharpness and from different ingredients. I prefer to make it as spicy as possible, and this recipe is perfect for such a task. Such an adjika is prepared from tomatoes and apples, so that the taste is very harmonious.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 2 kg
- Apples - 1 kg
- Bell pepper - 1 kg
- Hot red pepper - 200 g
- Carrots - 1 kg
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Vinegar - 1 glass
- Vegetable oil - 1 glass
- Salt - 65 g
- Garlic - 200 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pass peeled apples, carrots, tomatoes and both types of peppers through a meat grinder.
Simmer the mass for an hour on low heat.
Add the remaining ingredients and simmer the adjika for another 20 minutes.
Roll it up in sterilized jars.
