A rather unusual, but at the same time incredibly simple combination of currants with cherries in this jam plays with new colors. Two berries with a bright and expressive taste give a truly unique and harmonious result.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the seeds from the cherry. Fill it with half of the sugar and leave it for a couple of hours.
Go through the currants, cover with the remaining sugar and leave it too.
Chop the currants with a blender and bring to a boil.
Boil for 15 minutes and then add the cherries and mint.
Bring the jam to a boil again and cook for another 7 minutes.
Roll the jam into sterile jars.
