An amazing curiosity among winter preparations is ginger jam. It is unlikely that you will eat it with tablespoons instead of dessert, but this is a real salvation in the cold season and just on cold evenings when you want something warming!

Ingredients

  • Ginger - 500 g
  • Sugar - 200 g
  • Spices and seasonings - 1 tbsp.l .
  • Lemon - 1 piece

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Grate ginger, add sugar and favorite spices, and boil for 10 minutes on low heat.

Let the workpiece cool down, bring it to a boil again and boil for another 5 minutes.

Repeat the previous step completely.

Pour in the lemon juice, mix the jam and roll it into sterile jars.
