Canned mushrooms with carrots are a simple but win–win salad for the winter. They are good for meat, potatoes, cereals and other side dishes. This is a great snack for strong alcohol and an addition to any festive feast.

Ingredients

  • Champignons - 800 g
  • Carrots - 200 g
  • Salt - 2 tsp.
  • Sugar - 2 tsp.
  • Water - 400 ml
  • Onion - 100 g
  • Garlic - 5 teeth
  • Vinegar - 3 art.l.
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l.
  • Greenery - 10 g
  • Black Pepper - 10 peas
  • Bay leaf - 2 pieces

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Boil the peeled mushrooms for 5 minutes in boiling water.

Cut carrots and onions into cubes, and send them to the mushrooms. Chop the garlic and herbs there as well.

Mix water, salt and sugar, add pepper and bay leaf, pour vinegar and oil.

Bring the marinade to a boil, boil for a minute and remove from heat.

Pour the salad with hot marinade and leave for an hour.

Put it in sterilized jars and roll it up.
