Cut the apricots into slices and peel them from the seeds.
Cut the fruit into small pieces and put it in a saucepan.
Cover with sugar, cover with a lid and leave for 2 hours.
Dry the walnuts in a frying pan, drain from the husk and chop.
Put the pot with apricot stock on a slow fire and boil for 5 minutes.
Add nuts, citric acid and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
Put the hot jam in clean, dry jars, roll it up, turn it upside down and wrap it with a thick towel.
