In our family, canned tomatoes are eaten the fastest, so I try to close a lot of them. I use different recipes for a change. Among other things, I prepare tomatoes in grape juice. Try it and you, it's very tasty!
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 2,5 kg
- Garlic - 3 clove
- Dill - 20 g
- Mustard Seeds - 1 tbsp.l .
- Black pepper - 10 peas
- Wine vinegar - 2 art.l.
- Grape juice - 200 ml
- Water - 1,2 l
- Sugar - 3 art.l.
- Salt - 2 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the tomatoes and pierce them with a needle so that they do not burst under the influence of boiling water.
Place peeled garlic cloves, dill, spices and tomatoes in sterilized jars. In the process, shake the jars several times to make the vegetables lie down more tightly.
Pour boiling water to the top, cover with lids and leave for 20-30 minutes.
Drain the water into a saucepan, add grape juice, sugar, salt and boil for 5 minutes.
Pour wine vinegar and boiling marinade into jars with tomatoes. Roll up, turn upside down and wrap up for a day with a thick towel.
