I want to share a recipe of my favorite canned squash! With citric acid, they retain their bright color and freshness throughout the winter season. With this recipe, it's not difficult to make them at all.
Ingredients
- Patisson - 1 kg
- Horseradish Root - 4 pieces
- Garlic - 8 cloves
- Black Pepper - 12 pieces
- Carnation - 12 buds
- Bay leaf - 4 pieces
- Salt - 4 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 2 tbsp.l.
- Citric acid - 4 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the squash and arrange them with all the spices and additives in sterile jars.
Pour boiling water and leave under the lids for 10 minutes.
Drain this water, add salt and sugar to it, and boil it again.
Add citric acid, and pour the squash again.
Roll them up for the winter.
