Of all the dozens of ways to marinate physalis for the winter, the option in tomato juice is one of my favorites. Tomato juice is better to take homemade and fresh, but otherwise everything is very simple. Even a completely inexperienced cook can cope.
Ingredients
- Physalis - 2 kg
- Tomato juice - 1.5 l
- Sugar - 3 tbsp.l.
- Salt - 3 tbsp.l .
- Vinegar - 2 art.l.
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Black Pepper - 1 tsp.
- Currant leaves - 4 pieces
- Horseradish Root - 1 piece
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Celery - 2 twigs
- Dill - 4 umbrella
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Clean the physalis and boil for 3 minutes in boiling water.
Boil tomato juice with sugar, salt, bay leaf, pepper and vinegar.
Put physalis and all other additives into sterile jars.
Pour marinade and roll up for the winter.
