Mushroom pickle with cabbage for the winter without sterilization

I have been using this recipe for several years. And no matter how much I have prepared, it is always not enough. Mushroom pickle with cabbage is a versatile dish that can be served cold, added to soups and stews. Try it, you will definitely like it!
Ingredients
- Cabbage - 1,5 kg
- Mushrooms - 800 g
- Carrots - 500 g
- Onion - 300 g
- Vegetable oil - 60 ml
- Vinegar - 50 ml
- Tomato paste - 100 g
- Black Pepper - 7 peas
- Bay leaf - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 50 g
- Salt - 70 g
- Water - 200 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop mushrooms, cabbage and peeled onions. Grate the carrots.
Fry onions and carrots in oil for 5 minutes.
Add the cabbage and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Separately fry the mushrooms for 7-10 minutes.
Mix both blanks in a large saucepan.
Add spices, sugar, salt and water mixed with tomato paste.
Simmer for 20 minutes, pour in the vinegar and immediately remove from the heat.
Spread the mushroom hodgepodge in clean, dry jars and roll up.
