Today I want to tell you a great recipe for homemade gooseberry mojito. It is often brewed with the addition of lemons and lime, but I like it without them. Citric acid will give a refreshing acidity. It also has the role of a preservative.
Ingredients
- Gooseberry - 1 kg
- Mint - 50 g
- Sugar - 400 g
- Citric acid - 2 g
- Water (filtered) – 6 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the gooseberries from the dry tails and rinse thoroughly.
Put the mint in a colander and scald with boiling water.
Boil water in a saucepan, add gooseberries, mint, sugar, citric acid and boil for 10 minutes.
Strain, pour into jars and roll up.
