- Red Currant (with twigs) – 1 kg
- Allspice - 4 peas
- Black Pepper - 10 peas
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Sugar - 200 g
- Apple cider vinegar - 3 tbsp.l.
- Water - 800 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Place the red currants in a colander and rinse under running water.
Put spices and berries in sterilized jars. In the process, shake several times so that the currant lies down more tightly.
Pour boiling water to the top, cover with lids and leave for 20 minutes.
Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar, bay leaf and boil for 3 minutes.
Catch the bay leaf and throw it away.
Pour vinegar, boiling marinade into jars with currants and roll up.
