Greek tomato pancakes

Let's make traditional Greek pancakes today. They will need the most ripe and soft tomatoes. They can be crushed in a blender or finely chopped. Some housewives rub them through a sieve and even use juice altogether.


  • Tomatoes (medium) – 4 pieces
  • Garlic - 2 clove
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Greenery - a couple of twigs
  • Flour - 100 g
  • Baking powder dough - 0,5 tsp.
  • Ground black pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste
  • Vegetable oil - 50 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel the tomatoes and chop them finely.

Chop the greens and peeled onions.

Mix everything, add garlic, salt and ground pepper passed through the press.

Add flour mixed with baking powder and mix well.

Heat the oil in a frying pan, spoon out small pancakes and fry until golden brown.
