There are many recipes for how to cook real Tatar baursaks. I will share one of them with you so that your baursaks are moderately sweet, lush inside and crispy outside.


Step-by-step cooking recipe

Prepare the dough. To do this, beat the eggs with salt to a thick foam. Mix with water and soda.

Gradually add flour and knead the dough until it becomes homogeneous and elastic. Send the finished dough to the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

Brush the table with flour. Lay out the dough. Separate the portion pieces from it, roll them into balls.

In a saucepan with a thick bottom, boil sunflower oil. Throw in the baursaks and cook until golden brown.

Take out the baursaks on a paper towel to get rid of excess fat. Transfer to a dish or on a tray. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. I also advise watering them with honey or melted chocolate.
